Install questions
Do I need to uninstall the old version before updating?
For major version upgrades (e.g. 7.x to 26.x), uninstall first for cleanest results. For minor updates (26.2.1 to 26.2.2), you can run the new MSI over the existing version and it will update in place. See the update guide.
Can I install LibreOffice without administrator rights?
Not with the standard MSI installer which installs to Program Files. For non-admin install, use the portable version which runs from a folder without installation. See the portable guide.
