Update LibreOffice on Windows

Download the new MSI
Get the latest
LibreOffice_26.2.2_Win_x86-64.msifrom the download page. - 2
Run over existing install (minor updates)
Double-click the MSI. It detects the existing version and updates in place. Your documents and settings are preserved.

Verify the update
Help → About LibreOffice. The version number should show 26.2.2.
LibreOffice also has a built-in update check: Help → Check for Updates. This opens the download page in your browser.

Update questions
Will updating LibreOffice delete my documents?
No. Documents you have saved are stored in your own folders and are never touched by the LibreOffice installer. Settings and extensions are also preserved for minor updates.
LibreOffice update broke extensions
Major version updates sometimes disable extensions. Go to Tools → Extension Manager → Check for Updates. If an extension is incompatible, check its page at extensions.libreoffice.org for an updated version.
